At the beginning of lock down, I made a bangin desk that folds and has shelves and ive enjoyed the fuck out of it. All materials were scavenged from skips and the floor in my local area.

I take a lot of satisfaction from making perfunctory things and little DIY fixes around the house. It makes me feel like i have a relationship with the space i inhabit. I spend a lot of time in my bedroom/studio and need to have a healthy relationship with my space. Over time this desk transformed, gaining additional shelves and uses.

The process of preparing to make work n important element of my work . Finding, sorting and storing objects is an intrinsic part of my process and i think it possibly reveals something broader about the way i think.
This desk gives me more of a creative buzz than most of the work I've made on it, so I treat it as a piece of art by itself.
